He has more than 13 years' experience as a practitioner in the field of Intellectual Property Law and began his professional career at Amroos & Partners (now known as AMR Partnership) as Partner and Head of the Trademark and Litigation group of the firm and at the firm of Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (Baker & McKenzie Indonesia) as Senior IP Consultant.
Heru is a Licensed Advocate and a Registered Intellectual Property Consultant.
He is involved in handling various Intellectual Property issues, varying from advising on all types of intellectual property work, including trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyrights, trade secrets, and layout of integrated circuits.
He is also involved in advising clients on Intellectual Property protection in Indonesia, as well as managing major trademark, patents and industrial designs portfolios.
His experience in Intellectual Property practice includes representing local/foreign companies in such diverse industries as retail and manufacturing, computers, entertainment, food and beverage, financial services, pharmaceuticals, etc.
